Terms for Bonjour Page clients

These are the terms you agree to when you buy a website from Bonjour Page. We've kept them short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to hello@bonjourpage.com before you pay.

Who we are

Bonjour Page is a service of Point Two Global L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence 2532724.01), with its office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Point Two Global L.L.C-FZ, and "you" means the business buying the website.

Who these terms are for

We sell to businesses, not to private individuals. By paying, you confirm that you're buying for a business and that you're allowed to agree to these terms on its behalf.

What you get

• Your website, based on the preview you saw before paying, published on the web address you chose.
• Your domain name, registered in your business's name for the first year. Standard names such as .com are included. If a name you pick costs more than a standard one (a "premium" name), we'll show you the extra cost before you pay.
• Endings for your trade (such as .cafe, .salon or .clinic) cost extra. We show the price before you pay; it's added to your first payment and to each yearly renewal. It follows what the registry charges, and if that changes, the reminder we send before each renewal shows the new amount.
• A web address you already own can be used instead. It stays registered with the company you bought it from, and you keep renewing it there. While you're a client, we look after its settings (DNS), including the ones your email needs. If you leave, we send you those settings so you can move them.
• Hosting for one year, including a secure connection (the padlock in the browser).
• The console, where you change your own text, photos, opening hours and prices, and use the tools listed on bonjourpage.com when you bought. We may add features over time. While you're a client, you will always be able to edit your own content.

You sign in to the console with a one-time code sent to your email. There's no password to remember.

Price and payment

• The first payment is AED 1,850, paid by card at checkout.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Prices are in UAE dirhams and are the full amount you pay. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. If that changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to a renewal.
• We send a receipt by email for every payment.

The yearly renewal

• One year after your first payment, and every year after that, we charge AED 365 to the card you paid with. This covers hosting and the renewal of your domain.
• We email you at least 30 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount.
• If we ever change the yearly price, we'll tell you at least 60 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then.
• If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again and we email you so you can update your card. If it's still unpaid after 30 days, we pause your website. Before your domain would expire, we send you its transfer code so you can keep it.

Cancelling and refunds

• Cancel any time from your console or by emailing hello@bonjourpage.com. Nothing more is charged. Your website stays online until the end of the year you've paid for.
• First payment: you see your finished website before you pay. If you still change your mind within 14 days of paying, we refund the AED 1,850 minus what your domain cost us, and take the website down. You keep the domain.
• Renewals: if a renewal goes through and you didn't want it, tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it in full.

Your domain

• We register your domain through Cloudflare, with your business as the owner (the "registrant").
• Domain rules require the owner's contact details to be held by the registrar. Public lookups normally hide personal details.
• The registrar may email the owner once to confirm their email address. It must be confirmed within 15 days, or the registry switches the domain off until it is. We remind you, and the console shows what to do.
• You can ask for your domain's transfer code at any time, free of charge, and move it wherever you like.

Your content

• The text, photos and logos you give us or add yourself remain yours. You confirm you have the right to use them.
• You allow us to store and display them so we can run your website.
• You're responsible for what your website says, including prices, opening hours and any licences your business needs.
• Your website can't be used for anything illegal in the UAE, or for adult content, gambling, weapons or misleading claims. We may remove content, or pause a website, that breaks this rule. We'll tell you why.

Our designs and the console

The designs, the console and the system behind them belong to us. While you're a client, you can use them for your website. If you leave, we'll send you your text and photos, and you keep your domain. The design and the console stay with us. Stock photos we added from image libraries such as Unsplash and Pexels can be reused under those libraries' own licences.

Keeping your website online

Your website runs on Cloudflare's global network, and we work to keep it online at all times. We can't promise it will never be unavailable. If something goes wrong, we'll fix it as quickly as we can and tell you what happened.

Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with your website is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. We're not responsible for lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you. If you don't agree, you can cancel, and we'll refund the unused months of your current year.

Law and disagreements

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If we have a disagreement we can't settle by talking, the courts of Dubai will decide it.
